A Midsummer Night's Dream at The Angmering School

The Angmering School is excited to once again welcome the Quantum Theatre Group who will be visiting our Year 8 students. This time, the stage is set for a truly magical performance of Shakespeare's comedy "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

The travelling theatre group is due to perform in a host of prestigious venues across the country so we are truly delighted that Quantum was able to squeeze us in as part of  Angmering Calling.

A little about the show:

Shakespeare’s most enduringly popular comedy of love and intrigue, magic and mayhem, is brought to life in Quantum Theatre's wonderfully funny and exuberant production of the Shakespeare classic.

Set on that most dangerous of nights when fairies are abroad and nothing is as it seems, four young, unsuspecting, lovers become entangled in their magical affray and soon no mortals are safe in those bewitched and bewitching woods outside Athens ...

This exciting, funny and intriguing production by Michael Whitmore presents the whole text in a fast-paced, accessible and easily understandable style that will appeal to students of all ages.
