Angmering Calling Summer Festival 2022 - Open Day

On Saturday 18th June The Angmering School opened its doors to friends, family and members of the community once more for the Open Day of the Angmering Calling Festival. 

Work was on display celebrating the work of our students across Art, Photography and Design and Technology. Work lined the classrooms at the top of F block showcasing the amazing creativity of our students from Year 7 all the way up to Sixth Form. All of this was accompanied by music provided by our talented music students.

Visitors to the festival were able to experience an archeological dig provided by Timeseekers where you could unearth historical artefacts directly from the school field. Local children’s author Amanda Hubbert provided children with a retelling of her books in a lovely calm and welcoming setting. 

A delicious vintage tea with sausage rolls, scones and homemade lemonade was provided by the food department which was the perfect accompaniment to watching the cricket match on a hot summer's day.

Many thanks to all staff and students who supported us in making this day a success. There was a real spirit of community and celebration surrounding the open day and the other events during the festival. We look forward to doing it all again in 2023!
