Beyond COP 21
Beyond COP 21. Lancing College hosted a climate change symposium for Year 12 Geographers.
The Geography Department took the Year 12's out to Lancing College for a Beyond COP 21 symposium held at Lancing College. There were many guest speakers who are experts in their field, providing the most up to date responses to climate change.
This supports our Climate Change unit within the specification and has kick started the topic with a whole host of new material. We were lucky enough to be given a tour of the Chapel (as featured in Harry Potter) as well as attend an exhibition from local businesses and Universities offering climate change-based solutions.
We hope to go back again next year and potentially contribute to the session
s that take place.
