Dance Live 2023

On Tuesday 21st February our incredible Dance Live team competed at the Portsmouth Guildhall Theatre with our piece 'Magician Impossible'. The piece explored the story of the magician Stephen Frayne and the  challenges he had to overcome to become the magician we know as 'Dynamo'. Our dancers performed to an extremely high standard, demonstrating excellent storytelling through their use of technical and expressive skills, and winning the technical award for best Concept and placing third overall. We are extremely proud of everybody who was involved in our piece, including our stage crew, dancers and those who worked tirelessly in rehearsals to support the younger members of our group. Thank you to all the staff that supported us - Mrs Knight, Mr Pearson, Mr Jenner, Miss Spight, Miss Pegden and Mrs Passfield and thank you to Sarah Smith for helping with our costumes and props. We are extremely proud of all the young people involved - they were a real credit to the dance department and the Angmering School. Now we need to start thinking about what we are going to do next year...
