Update from the smallholding project

Students who help at the smallholding in Year 7, 8 and 9 got to try some of the fruits of all their hard labour this week.

They were able to pick and taste peas, herbs, strawberries, radishes and even a couple of cherries off the tree (sadly the birds had beaten us to it and there were not many left). 

They also learnt about some of the recipes you could make using the vegetables and herbs growing. We were also excited to see our  first tiny courgettes!
