WELCOME

FROM THE HEADTEACHER

FROM THE LEADER OF SIXTH FORM

Welcome to Angmering Sixth Form, where we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to be successful. We have an encouraging community that combines high expectations with high support, ensuring that each student reaches their full potential. We offer a wide range of Level 3 courses, with both A Levels and Vocational qualifications in our offer, alongside enrichment activities designed to inspire and challenge our students. Whether you're aiming for university, apprenticeships or entering the workforce, we are here to equip you with the skills and confidence you need to succeed.

We understand that academic success is not just about grades - it's about cultivating a mindset of resilience, ambition, and personal growth - and we have built a personal development programme that focuses on three key areas:

Success Ready

Level 3 courses require a different approach to note taking, preparation and organisation compared with GCSE. In order to support this change, every student will have fortnightly seminars to build their skills as they start their new courses. These will continue throughout your time in Sixth Form and ensure supported preparation for assessments and examinations.

Future Ready

One of the biggest motivations for results is having a clear pathway for what you want to achieve. We encourage every student to ‘Dream Big’ and then provide the skills, knowledge and experience required to make those dreams a reality. By using our alumni and business network, you will explore future options and will then be supported to achieve those goals.

World Ready

In our ever-changing world, we believe that you need to understand key life skills in order to thrive. This includes how to manage your money and how to understand and support your mental health. By guiding you through these skills, we believe you will be in the best position to tackle whatever the world throws at you.

We hope that you find the information on our website helpful and we look forward to welcoming you to Angmering Sixth Form.

Mrs Hannah Knox
Leader of Angmering Sixth Form
