Rolls Royce Apprentices

We were delighted to welcome Faye Ginnaw and Darcie Lawson to our new weekly feature. Both are on the Rolls Royce Apprenticeship Programme and spoke about their experience of earning-while-they-learn with this prestigious local employer. They gave lots of helpful information about the application and interview process, and the wide range of different roles within the company. 

Faye is an ex-Angmering student, she is on a Level 6 (degree) apprenticeship in Project Management with the company, having completed 3 A-levels. 

Darcie studied Sport BTEC before embarking on the Level 3 Engineering apprenticeship with Rolls Royce. 

Both spoke about the importance of developing 'soft skills' such as communication, teamwork and time management, which can be gained from extracurricular activities as well as from participating fully in their Level 3 studies at college.
