Biology students attend Science Live!

A-Level Biology students went to Science Live! at London Dominion Theatre on Friday 18th November 2022.
This exciting day gave students the chance to hear five scientists who are working at the cutting edge of their specialisms, as well as two sessions from an experienced examiner. Speakers were:

Professor Jonathan Van-Tam - Deputy Chief Medical officer for the UK Government, he played a crucial role during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Professor Alice Roberts - biologist, anatomist, medic, author and broadcaster.

Professor Robert Winston -  medical doctor, presenter and distinguished scientist, particularly in the area of human
fertility in which he is a pioneer of IVF treatment.

Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore (pictured below) - award-winning cognitive neuroscientist and Professor of Psychology at the University of Cambridge

Dr Adam Rutherford - geneticist, science writer and presenter, Honorary Research Fellow at University College London.
