Sixth Form Charity Week

Last week we held our first ever Sixth Form Charity Week and it was a resounding success!

We ran a variety of fun activities throughout the week including an Egg hunt, a daily cake & sweet sale, a carousel of challenges for Year 7 and 8 pupils on Wednesday afternoon run by our Sport students, Sponge-a-Teacher and a raffle with some great prizes. There were some very creative solutions to transporting materials to college on our 'anything-but-a-bag' day, including a microwave, hamster cage and a PC with lights inside!

Extra-special credit goes to our super-hardworking sixth form Charity Committee who did a brilliant job of coordinating and publicing the event and worked really hard every day.

We are delighted to report that we raised an incredible £908 for our chosen charity, Young Lives vs Cancer! A massive THANK YOU to everyone - students, parents and staff - who donated and joined in with the fun!
