Bursaries
The Bursary Fund is for students aged between 16 and 19 years who struggle with the costs for education or training. At The Angmering School, we are responsible for awarding bursaries to our students. With the exception of the £1,200 bursaries for students most in need, we will decide on the amount given, when discretionary bursaries are paid, how the money is distributed, and we will set conditions that students should meet to receive a bursary, for example, linked to behaviour or attendance.
The 16-19 Bursary Scheme available to:
-
Students in care, leaving care, in receipt of Income Support or Universal Credit, disabled and in receipt of Employment Support Allowance and Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payments will be awarded a guaranteed Bursary.
-
Students from a household income below £25,000 may also receive help towards equipment/materials and or travel costs.
-
For students with exceptional circumstances, applications will be assessed on a case by case basis. Please contact Emily Davies to discuss your circumstances:edavies@theangmeringschool.co.uk or 01903 778394.
